Phore Core Wallet Development Proposal - July 2019

Phore Core Wallet Development Proposal - July 2019 (4,600 PHR)

This proposal provides funding for the development and support of the current Phore core wallet. Features, user interface and user experience improvements, bug fixes, and maintenance on the current core wallet will continue until we migrate to the new Phore blockchain architecture that is under active development.

These funds will be used for the continued efforts to enhance the current Phore core wallet, which includes requirements analysis, design, development, testing, project management, marketing, and legal expenses. We appreciate your support in helping us make this a reality.

Currently we are working on adding hierarchical deterministic (HD) addressing capabilities, which will allow users to use seed words as the basis for generating their public/private key pairs. For users, one of the big benefits of this is that writing down your seed words becomes a full and permanent backup for all future keys generated by that wallet that can be used to recover your funds if your wallet.dat file was ever lost or damaged.

If you have ideas, suggestions, or want to make a contribution to Phore’s development, please reach out to Michael T. on Discord or Telegram and let us know.
